Jiten.net is a simple, yet powerful, Japanese-English online dictionary. You can get started by typing any word (either in japanese or english) or kanji in the textbox above.
Tips
- You can type in japanese or english. We will find the definition for you!
- Use multiple words to refine your search. You can even mix japanese and english!
- You can also use romaji for japanese words (will be automatically converted to hiragana).
- Use UPPERCASE to avoid kana conversion (eg. "MA" will not be converted to "ま")
- You can use * as a wildcard (eg. *込む)
- Add jiten.net into Firefox's search bar
